AVAILABLE TO SHIP DECEMBER - APRIL
Spring Cara Cara Oranges, also known as Red Navel Oranges, have a bright orange peel and a distinct pinkish-red, raspberry-colored flesh. (The pink shade is caused by the presence of lycopene, the same antioxidant that gives tomatoes their red color!) Compared to traditional navels, Cara Caras are also extremely sweet, but also slightly tangy, less acidic, and have berry-like undertones reminiscent of raspberries, strawberries, or sweet cherries. Cara Caras also offer a higher amount of Vitamin A than regular Navels. They are seedless, too!
